Ex-Library Book.  Malaeska was the first dime novel, the first complete book of fiction ever sold for ten cents, number one of the Beadle series which ran into the hundreds and circulated by the millions.  It was originally published in June, 1860.  It was written as a “romance novel.”  This book’s edition was published in 1929.
