This little (size is 1″ x 1 1/4″) pill box has been around for many, many years.  The lid is hinged, but the little clasp does not hold.  Your pills would fall out.  The patina on this box is very heavy and as far as I can see there are no markings.  It does have a nice design on the top of lid, however.
