A terrific contemporary Santa Clara pottery bowl by Sammy Naranjo.  He is known for his technique of having two different colors of glaze on his pottery.  This pot is black with a sienna rim and has a wonderful sgraffito design of an avanyu, bear paws and geometrics.  The size is 5″ x 6″ and is clearly signed on the bottom.  His work is featured in many galleries in Santa Fe.
