He is the nephew of famed jewelry maker, Charles Loloma. Mr. Kaye uses only a pocket knife to work his Katsinas. This “Deer Dancer” is signed by Wilmer Kaye, with his address in Polacca, AZ. Wilmer works on one Katsina at a time so he can concentrate on that one piece. His works are found in many nationally recognized museums and in upscale Native American art galleries. Mr. Kaye was chosen to work as an exhibitor in the National Indian Museum in Washington, D.C. some years ago. He is extremely well known in this field of Native American Art.
