A beautiful and well made Blackfoot parfleche bag. It is hand painted and the fabric borders are hand woven. It is a wall piece or it can be worn on a belt. The leather straps are tied and I have not opened the bag. I have had it hanging on my wall for years but I believe it could also be used in a re-enactment situation. It measures 7 1/2″ x 8″. I believe it was most likely made prior to 2000 and was purchased at a pow wow or Native American craft fair.
