NAVAJO VINTAGE “KETOH” OR BOW GUARD
A great rustic look to this Navajo ketoh also known as a bow guard. The ketoh was initially used to protect the wrist of archers, however this vintage piece is more for show than utilitarian. It measures 3 1/4″ in length and the width is 2 1/2″ (the plaque) and it is set on a leather strap with velcro on the back to fit to size. There are two large silver feathers in the center portion of the ketoh and then surrounded with 12 rough cut turquoise stones. A dramatically different piece of jewelry for your collection.
